Do i need a doctor's referral to see you?
No, you do not need a referral to start therapy. As a Registered Social Worker, I accept self-referrals. You can simply email me at [email protected] or reach out through my contact form to book your first session.
how long is a typical session?
Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. This allows us time for deep work together, with a few minutes at the end to wrap up and discuss next steps.
how do we meet for sessions?
I provide secure video sessions for individual across Ontario. This allows you to engage in therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home in Toronto, Simcoe County and beyond.
is therapy covered by my insurance
Many extended health benefit plans in Ontario cover Registered Social Worker (RSW). I recommend contacting your provider directly to confirm that my Masters in Counselling Psychology and Registered Social Worker designation is covered.
what is your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling unless it is a family or health emergency. This allows me to offer the time to another client. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are subject to the full session fee.
