Payment for Services
Fees will be discussed during the initial consultation.
When clients do not have coverage through a benefit plan the standard rate is $120 per session.
Full or partial coverage is available through most extended health care insurance plans, as Jennifer is a Registered Social Worker & she works in association with a Registered Psychologist.
OHIP does not cover counselling services.
A variable rate, which is based on a sliding scale, is available in certain circumstances.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long with 10 minutes added to ensure adequate case notes are documented.
Payment for services is due at the end of each session & a receipt will be issued when payment has been obtained.
Fees may be paid by cash, cheque, or etransfer only. Payment through credit card, however, is available if sessions are run through your benefit plan. A surcharge of $25.00 will apply to all N.S.F. cheques.
Receipts should be retain for your insurance claims or for income tax purposes, if applicable.
We ask that all clients provide at least 48 hours notice of an appointment cancellation. We retain the right to charge a fee if appointments are cancelled without at least 48 hours notice.
